Inspired by the observation of our small daily rituals in resting which fulfill maximum snuggling up pleasure for extended TV sessions, this lounge chair is something between usual armchair and a sleeping bag.

Cocon chair is made of ultra soft blankets and an armchair in perfect comfortable position for lounging, daydreaming, reading, watching, either share or alone. This chair is very thoughtful, it is washable chair. So you don’t need to worry when you take a snack while relaxing there. This cozy chair tells in a poetic way the ritual of wrapping ourselves up in a blanket on the sofa. B25 by Cate & Nelson

This chair was created by Cate & Nelson to commemorate the 25th anniversary of design brand Blå Station. That’s why it’s called B25. It’s made of round birch wood ring and natural leather from Tärnsjö Tannery.

The idea is to create a chair like members of family, it’s not a single item of furniture, but a small series. First the round ring of birch was used in 1986 for Börge Lindau’s Oblado, it became iconic. Now the same feature is used in B25.
